The biannual Withybed Open Gardens event saw eight gardens in the hamlet open to the public as part of the National Gardens Scheme (NGS).

With more than 500 visitors and £3,645 raised for NGS charities, organisers said this was the most successful event yet.

As well as viewing the diverse range of gardens and plants on display, visitors also enjoyed homemade refreshments at The New Smithy.

These photos were taken by Milly Hastie, whose garden, The Mousehole, was also part of the event.
