This year’s Blackwell Summer Festival had a ‘Flower Power’ theme, which saw residents fully embracing the spirit of the event with a variety of bright costumes and inventive props.
The intermittent downpours didn’t stop children and families enjoying the usual games and contests, plus music and refreshments – and the sun came out for a BBQ at the social club in the evening.
