The bi-annual Withybed Open Gardens event takes place this year on Sunday June 30, from 1 until 6pm. Eight gardens are taking part, including two brand new entries, with money going to charities supported by the National Garden Scheme.
Entry is £5 (kids go free) and refreshments are available. There’s parking nearby, and the post code is B48 7RJ.
Another popular event is Penny’s Open Garden, based at The Piggery, Weights Lane, Redditch B97 6RQ. This year Penny is opening her colourful gardens on June 28, 29 and 30, from 2–6pm.
Entry is £12 and there will be delicious cream teas to buy, all in support of Cancer Research, Dementia UK and Parkinsons.
