Barnt Green WI were treated to some television secrets when Bargain Hunt’s Ben Cooper gave a talk at their recent meeting.
Women from eight local WIs joined them for evening tea and cake, served on vintage tableware, before Ben told them all about the antiques trade as well as some insider secrets from Bargain Hunt and working in television.
Ben, who grew up in Barnt Green, was also interested to see how it had changed in the past 20 years. Members of the audience had brought in items to be valued, and Ben equally excited and disappointed them with the results.
