Thank you, Peter

I am the sister of the late Peter Rippington. I do not live in Alvechurch, but visit the village regularly to see my family. Each time I visit, I go to look at the memorial garden to my brother.

I see that Peter McHugh, who has been tending the garden, is to retire. I am extremely grateful to him for all the hard work he has put into caring for the garden, and that this has ensured that my lovely brother is not forgotten.

My mother, Lorna Sage, died last December. She too was touched that the garden was so lovingly cared for.

I would like to put on record how grateful I am to Peter McHugh, and for the many villagers who have been extremely supportive to my family since my brother was so tragically killed.
