I would like to say a great big thank you to the young lady who came to my assistance when our car broke down in Bordesley on Friday November 13.
The young lady, who was cycling past at the time, stopped and tried to phone the AA for us on her mobile phone, but the call didn’t go through – so she cycled back to her nearby home to charge the phone and then walked back to us, and stayed with us until the AA arrived.
While we were waiting, a young man in a car also stopped to see if we were OK after he had recognised us and our car from the village.
I think it’s wonderful that these two people took the trouble to stop and help us. Unfortunately we don’t know either of their names, but we are very keen to pass on our thanks.
