In your November 2014 edition’s News Round Up you reported that Sajid Javid MP had met with Alvechurch residents to discuss the problem of traveller incursions.
During that meeting Mr Javid said that he would like to introduce a Private Member’s Bill in Parliament making “intentional trespass” a criminal offence.
Now that Mr Javid has been re-elected and is a senior member of the Tory Government it would be useful to know what progress, if any, he has made on introducing this Private Member’s Bill.
If he has done nothing to progress this matter, I think it would not be unreasonable to ask that Mr Javid explain his lack of action in introducing this legislation.
