Blackwell triathlete Sam Boswell enjoyed further success in the recent BRAT Sprint Triathlon.
The race, held in Lichfield and organised by the BRAT (Birmingham Running, Athletics & Triathlon) Club, consisted of a 400m pool swim, a 20km bike ride and a 5km run.
Sam completed the event in a time of 59m 41s, meaning she was the highest-placed female entrant with a huge lead of 3.39.
Only eight men managed to beat her, placing her ninth overall in a field of 245 top-quality competitors.
Sam, who works as a sports massage therapist, said: “BRAT put on a great race with a brilliant atmosphere and I’m really pleased with my result.“
