I had to chuckle when I read your recent article (The Village, June 2010) regarding the apparent frustration of the residents of the lower section of Greenhill and their gripes about the positioning of the “Welcome to Blackwell” signage.
I can obviously sympathise with these concerns. After all, who would want to reside in a village which boasts a pretty village shop, a church, an internationally recognised scouting centre, a first school and a social club?
I can, however, confirm that living in Blackwell is a pleasurable experience, even if some clearly don’t agree.
