Beavers enjoy police visit

A Barnt Green Beaver Scout is helped into the latest police gear by PC Lorette Taylor (right).

PC Taylor and Sgt Dave Cotter visited the group to talk about their role in the community.

And, of course, the Beavers got to try equipment such as a baton, protective vest, helmet and handcuffs.

They also had the chance to see what it was like to sit in a police car.

n Barnt Green Beavers would like to be able to offer Scouting to more young people, but this can only happen with more adult volunteers.
