Lickey End residents are being urged to sign a petition calling for action after a six-year-old girl was almost knocked down outside her school.
Stella Standham, who says she only just managed to pull little Cara to safety in Alcester Road, has joined forces with local campaigner John Harris to form ‘Traffic Calming Road Safety in Lickey End’.
They plan to present their petition to MP Julie Kirkbride and Nick Twaite.
“I haven’t slept properly since it happened and hate going up that road,” added Stella.
Again, it seems traffic finding a back route from the motorway to Redditch is causing the problem.
