Alvechurch parish councillor Ann Willetts presents a retirement and birthday gift to Rob Watkin, of Rowney Green, who has stepped down as parish caretaker after 23 years due to health problems. Coun Willetts and parish clerk Jayne Smailes made the presentation on Rob’s 70th birthday, to thank him for his hard work keeping the area tidy and attractive – including creating and caring for the vibrant hanging baskets around the village centre.
