Crafty cheques

After raising £2,900 during 2019, the Alvechurch Knit & Natter group was able to make donations to four charities, whose representatives were presented with cheques at the group’s December meeting.

The money was raised through sales of knitted goods, a fashion show, Christmas fair and raffle. Organiser Cynthia Lawton said people had been very generous with donations for prizes.
