There seemed to be a larger-than-ever crowd at the Oakalls & Parklands Christmas Community Event, organised by Coun Caroline Spencer and a team of volunteers.
Although the grassy area where the event is held was very muddy following a prolonged period of wet weather, it was mild and dry on the night and everyone enjoyed music from Blackwell Concert Band, carol singing and refreshments.
Santa was also in attendance, courtesy of the Bromsgrove Lions, and threw a plethora of chocolate coin bags into the crowds for the children.
