Pupils from Alvechurch Middle School laid crosses at the war memorial on the village green during the Remembrance Day service, watched by dignitaries including parish chairman Marc Worrall and district councillors Kate Van Der Plank and Annette English.
The service was organised by Alvechurch Ex-Services Association and led by Rev Richard Bubbers and Rev Fiona Lee.
Meanwhile, Rev Sheri Gidney led a Remembrance Day service at the Lickey war memorial, which also involved local Scouts, Beavers and Cubs.
