Bare chests for charity

-

November

A calendar of “boob art” featuring designs hand-painted on to the chests of village women (and men) is now on sale, raising awareness of breast cancer in both sexes and funds for Cancer Research UK.

Rowney Green photographer Lou Howard, who got local men to pose nude for a charity calendar in 2014, asked artist and illustrator Abbey Stevens to paint a different scene for each month – such as the November one above – which Lou then photographed and digitally enhanced to produce the images.

“All our models have either been on or are on their cancer journey or are supporting family and friends with cancer,” says Lou. “100 per cent of all calendar sales will go to the charity, as our printing costs have been met by sponsorship from local companies.”

The calendar was launched at Rowney Green Village Hall, where copies will be on sale for £10 – or you can order online via https://www.PayPal.me/Limebridge or email limebridgedesigns@yahoo.co.uk, adding £2 p&p (posting to UK mainland only).
