Organisers of the second Alvechurch Pumpkin Festival are reminding people of the date – Saturday October 27 in the village hall – and encouraging them to start working on their entries.
If you haven’t grown your own, you could carve or decorate a shop-bought pumpkin, or if you enjoy crafts, make something pumpkin-related.
The winning design in this year’s competition was created by Sophie Rose, in Year 8 at Alvechurch Middle School, and will be turned into badges for all entrants.
