Bromsgrove wanted Brexit

I agree with the part of your January Village View that welcomes the “new blood” that has invigorated our local councils, but must strongly disagree with your wish that “Brexit reality will topple the current Government”.

Last year’s “narrow result” was not narrow in Bromsgrove, with 55.4 per cent voting Leave against the national Leave vote of 51.9 per cent, and only 44.6 per cent voting Remain against the national Remain vote of 48.1 per cent.

Bromsgrove’s turnout was 79.3 per cent and the national turnout was 72 per cent.

We don’t want to get back to “normal”; we want the change that people voted for to happen.
