Villagers have an opportunity to spend an evening in the company of marathon runner and fundraiser extraordinaire, Dave Heeley – AKA “Blind Dave”.
The Pride of Birmingham winner is the first and only blind person in the world to have completed the ultimate endurance challenge– seven marathons in seven days on seven continents.
He will give an entertaining talk on Wednesday October 25 at The Ark, St Laurence Church, Alvechurch, starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £10 (including a welcome drink) with proceeds going to local charities The Lounge and Where Next.
