Lack of lifts is discrimination

Would someone please be able to let us all know when the long-dreamt-of disabled lifts are due to be installed at Barnt Green railway station?

They were promised before the new bridge was installed, and yet here we are, over a year later, still dreaming of the day yet to come when someone who can’t climb or descend steps is allowed to access platforms two and three.

Really, I don’t know how Network Rail got away with not doing them at the time they put the new bridge in.

Their continued absence remains a flagrant breach of the Disability Discrimination Act, which must make those who need them absolutely livid.
