The annual garden party at Burcot Grange care home was enjoyed by more than 200 guests including residents and families, neighbours and local groups, and raised £730 for Blackwell First School’s gargoyle restoration.
School pupils ran a tombola and sold Burcot’s shortbread biscuits, while there was also a raffle, plant stall, yoga, afternoon tea and music from George Huxley’s jazz band.
