Alvechurch Baptist Church hall needs a replacement piano. The present piano has been in regular use since the 1950s and is now beyond all hope of tuning or repair.
With church services presently being held in the hall due to works in the church, as well as nursery school and all sorts of other events in the hall, the piano gets a regular pounding.
The church congregation want to replace it, but all their income is committed to the refitting of the church building itself. So if anyone in the area has a half-way decent upright piano they want rid of, we will guarantee it a good home for many years of usage.
