So, Birmingham is building a “town centre” on the Bromsgrove border. That, and they are building, I believe, 1,400 homes – most, if not all, of which will be inside the Bromsgrove boundary and yet count against Birmingham’s housing targets.
How precisely can that happen? It makes a mockery of the housing targets imposed upon Bromsgrove by central government.
It is a massive expansion of Birmingham inside our boundaries.
We may not be able to stop the building, but maybe our councillors and MP can re-allocate the targets so that future developments in Bromsgrove can be reduced by the same amount?
