There were beaming faces all around when a menagerie of baby animals from Umberslade Farm Park in Tanworth in Arden paid a visit to The Lawns residential home in Alvechurch.
The elderly residents were joined by children from Alvechurch & Bordesley Nursery School, and the goats, rabbits, ducklings, chicks and guinea pigs were a big hit with young and old alike.
Everyone enjoyed feeding the goats from a bottle, and the youngsters sang an few verses of Old MacDonald Had A Farm!
“The nursery children often visit us, and it’s lovely to see the two generations getting on so well,” said Jenny Davis, of The Lawns.
