From Marlbrook to Mito

Japanese wedding

Former Marlbrook resident and Waseley Hills pupil Daniel Acton married Mayumi Kurashina at the Shinto Temple in Mito, Japan, in July.

Following the traditional ceremony, the wedding party and guests adjourned to the Mito Art Centre for the reception – the start of which was interrupted by a large earth tremor.

“We had the whole Japanese experience!” commented best man “Big Tony” Lucullano.

The couple met while Daniel was living and working in Japan studying Japanese language and culture. They are currently living in Australia.
