Blackwell’s 14th craft fair was voted a great success by all who attended.

To commemorate World Food Day the 11 stallholders included various items representing food and drink among their goods and provided a bright and cheerful start to the Christmas shopping season.

Jewellery, jams, chutneys and Christmas puddings, wooden turned goods, abstract art and children’s books, glassware, knitted toys and cakes, aprons, cushions and tablecloths with fruit and vegetable themes, decoupage cards depicting food, and cross stitch key rings all contributed to a huge choice of hand crafted presents.

Although the main function of the fair is to provide a reasonably priced market place for the stallholders, a total profit of £132.40 was sent to the Bromsgrove Town Twinning Association, which this year celebrates 25 years of promoting friendship and cultural links between England, France and Germany.
