My attention was drawn to the article on the Lickey End Road campaign and traffic calming in Alcester Road; I was not aware of the near accident by the school and would add that the humps on the road were placed in the positions I suggested some years ago.
But they are being ignored by some people.
However, I have complained several times regarding the state of the pavement between Meadowvale Road and the shop; patching has taken place so many times that the area is dangerous – broken kerbs, drawn covers above the surfaces, bushes growing over and narrowing the pavement.
Attention is required here and action would be appreciated.
