Alvechurch Middle School launched a Good Citizen Award after receiving a donation from the parents of two former pupils  to be used  to recognise personal qualities and effort.
The School Council decided the award should be  made termly to  the pupil in each  year group who had made an  outstanding contribution to school life, and the first winners were (above from left) Chris Burns,  Lucy Preston, Ryan Shepherd and Tim Watson.
