Two hours of tennis

Young tennis players (from left) Sophie Smith, Harrison Knight, Jacob Gollings, Isabella Harris, Jacob Knight and Isabel Russell, all aged seven, raised £75 towards Rowney Green’s hall funds by playing two continous hours of short tennis in the hall. 

Lovely village occasion

Everyone visiting Rowney Green Horticultural Society’s Rose Show, held at Rowney Green Peace Hall on June 23, was delighted with the exhibits, despite the awful weather.

A horse bred in Rowney Green helped a British show-jumping team to international success in the Veterans Show Jumping competition at La Baule, France.
