Wind band blows strong

Blackwell Wind Band was formed in 1998 when Blackwell Brass Band dissolved due to a shortage of players and woodwind was allowed into the band.

Success for new WI

Last October the President of Blackwell & Burcot Women’s Institute suggested to the chairman of the Worcester Federation of the Women’s Institute (WFWI) that Blackwell should have an evening WI, for ladies who are unable to attend the afternoon meetings of the Blackwell & Burcot branch.
