I am writing to highlight an on-going problem for the residents of Bear Hill Drive and The Gaunts, Alvechurch.

I have just read a clipping from The Village magazine stating that an award has been granted regarding the so-called management of the Lickey cemetery.

City’s expansion

So, Birmingham is building a “town centre” on the Bromsgrove border. That, and they are building, I believe, 1,400 homes – most, if not all, of which will be inside the Bromsgrove boundary and yet count against Birmingham’s housing targets.

Laziness to blame for car culture

Re: The Square, Alvechurch – “Village Eyesore”: It may be helpful to your readers to have a clearer picture relating to the past, present and future of The Square than has so far been expressed by the article in your June issue.
