Lickey & Blackwell parish councillors expressed sadness that Fresh@ Burcot Garden Centre could be replaced by 11 new houses if a planning application is approved.
Coun Stephen Nock said “We’re sorry to see it go, but chances are it will happen.”
District and county councillor Kit Taylor added that because it was a brownfield site, “the damage to the Green Belt has already been done.”
Parish chairman Nick Forknell said: “We did ask Burcot to be involved in our Neighbourhood Plan, but they refused – maybe it could have helped!”
