A new physiotherapy and acupuncture clinic in Alvechurch aims to reduce health problems as well as boosting general wellbeing.

Pink Zebra, based at the relaxing Millhouse Clinics in the centre of the village, is run by Stephanie Hatherly, who has been a physiotherapist for nearly 10 years and has a special interest in the areas of acupuncture and women’s health.

“I am a mum to two young children and until very recently I worked for the NHS at the Birmingham Women’s Hospital,” says Stephanie.

“My new clinic focuses on women’s health and acupuncture and I want to help the many people out there who would like assistance in managing their health needs.”

In particular, Stephanie is able to help women who are having difficulties with continence or chronic conditions affecting the pelvic region, by putting together a bespoke treatment plan.

Meanwhile, she says those who are experiencing back or pelvic pain in their pregnancy can really benefit from specialist rehabilitation work, acupuncture and massage as part of a treatment package.

Additionally, Stephanie says acupuncture works well when incorporated into treatments for anyone with persistent pain, such as back or shoulder pain – it can reduce stress and anxiety, thus promoting well-being.

“I want to take the time to listen to your needs and work with you on your journey to recovery,” she adds. “For details regarding treatments do not hesitate to contact me for a chat – and find out how to be a better you!”
